Building a Strong Pantry with Abra Berens


Our friend Abra is coming to Farm Club to teach how to build a strong pantry; one condiment at a time.

Starting with Adventures in Seasoning, from her cookbook Ruffage: A Practical Guide to Vegetables, Abra will show us how to make 5 different condiments. She’ll cover mayo and herb-based condiments, chunky rigs, crunchy toppers, and pickley/olivey salads. After Abra’s demonstration we’ll sit down together to eat grain bowls, topped and dressed with the condiments from class.

Participants will leave with a jar of a ready-to-use condiment for home.

This will be a fun night of demonstration and sensory experiences watching Abra’s cookbooks come to life.

Ticket includes:

  • Recipes and demonstration

  • One condiment to take home

  • A grain bowl dinner featuring all the new condiments from class

  • Book signing

Doors at 6pm / bar & market open. Class starts at 6:30pm. Cash bar. Kitchen closed. Market will be stocked with provisions for building your own strong pantry with your new recipes and skills!
